I'm hosting these pics to give people info as to designing and building an IB

The orientation of the theater necessitated a creative solution to installing the manifolds. The offsets in the manifolds are to provide adequate clearance for his large FPTV screen.

To avoid engineering changes to the joists, the manifolds were built with a tapering top. This isn't optimal, but sometimes necessity is the mother of invention.

In order to get the project built and not break the bank a mix of 12" and 15" drivers were used. Eventually the 12"s will be replaced by additional 15"s. MDF adapter plates were fabricated to allow the 12"s to fine in the holes precut for 15"s
